42, it is the answer to the question about life, the universe and everything. The only problem is that nobody knows what the correct question about life. the universe and everything actually is. ;)
It originates in the “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” series written by Douglas Adams, but is often used by several geeks as some kind of running gag.
